Because I am trapped in horrible days without you.
I hope to be as strong as I seem.
To fix the things I cant now.
And listen to people
without hearing their words.
I hope to betray space and time.
To Fall. To finish.
To just
breath.
I hope to cure and be cured.
To feel your lips and dream of rosebushes
and tulips on our skin.
I hope to write.
To Inspire.
To undo sadness
And enjoy what's not in my control.
I hope to be an artist.
someday.
And sing of the life
I have lived
to the fullest.
Fractal Salt Mazes by Motoi Yamamoto
It’s not just for french fries and high blood pressure anymore: Yamamoto creates these sprawling labyrinthine designs using only salt. Also given to family members at the end of a funeral to ward off evil spirits, Motoi hopes that each line and branch of salt leads him to a memory of his sister, who died of brain cancer. This exhibit is currently showing at Hakone Open Air Museum in Kanagawa, Japan.

I love augmented reality things like this, I would love to learn about the technology behind itPlaytime 2.0 of the Day: Qualcomm demos its Augmented Reality-fueled Sesame Street playset that brings to life real-world Muppet toys and accessories using an iPad and Qualcomm’s patented Vuforia AR technology.
This sort of next-generation model for playtime is bound to be controversial, not the least because it shoehorns children into a one-imagination-fits-all reality that leaves little room for creativity and inspiration.

I love that harley oneThe Fragmented Arts of Hamilton Ward
Hamilton’s illustrations possess a child-like perspective on the world, jagged angles and malformed proportions somehow conjoin to form surrealistic characters from across the geek spectrum. All designs are available as prints over at Hamilton’s etsy.

Martin’s volcanic eruptions of music are created by slathering paint onto a speaker and then turning that beast up to 11. He then takes pictures to capture tangible shapes made by invisible sounds. Click on the pictures to see the songs used for each piece, Martin played everything from Miles Davis to Kraftwerk.
